* Adopt-A-Minefield Campaign [English]: The Adopt-A-Minefield is a campaign of the United Nations Association of the USA, which engages individuals, community groups, and businesses in the United Nations’ effort to resolve the global landmine crisis. The Campaign helps save lives by raising funds for mine clearance and survivor assistance and by raising awareness about the landmine problem.

* Advisory Council on Human Rights of the Government of Sudan  [Arabic]: The Council is a body created by the Government of Sudan. It includes representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations and it mainly advises the government on any issue relating to human rights. 

* African Committee of Experts on the Rights and Welfare of the Child [English]: The African Committee of Experts on the Rights and Welfare of the Child aims to promote and protect the rights enshrined in the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child particularly and to monitor the implementation and ensure protection of the rights enshrined in the Charter.

* African Rights - Working for Justice [English]: is a human Rights organization, it reports on human rights abuses by groups, individuals and states. It also carries out extensive field research that is useful to justice bodies, policymakers and academics, in Africa and beyond.

* Al Mezan Center for Human Rights [English] [Arabic]: The center aims to promote, protect and prevent violations of human rights in general and economic, social and cultural rights in particular.

* Algerian League for the Defense of Human Rights [French]: The Algerian League for the Defense of Human Rights (LADDH) was legalized in July 1989 in accordance with Algerian 1989 Constitution's recognition of human rights associations.  Affiliated to the International Federation of Human Rights, LADDH was active in the early 1990s before being repressed as a result of its position on the stopping of the electoral process in January 1992, which it described as a "military coup d'etat intended to put a halt to the ongoing process of democratization."

* Al-Haq [English] [Arabic]: Is a Palestinian human rights organization located in Ramallah, West Bank . It is an affiliate of the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ) and has special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations.

* Alkarama Organization for Human Rights [English] [Arabic] [French]: Alkarama Organization for Human Rights works for the promotion and protection of the values of justice, equality before the law and respect for the dignity and human rights in the Arab world. The organization also provides information on human rights violations in the Arab countries, as well as moral and judicial assistance to the victims of those violations.

* Alliance for Arab Women [English] [Arabic]: The Alliance for Arab Women is a non-government organization that works in partnership with a network of NGOs and other organizations from the Arab countries to promote women through influencing policies and legislations and providing services and programs that offer them security and safety.

* Al-Maqdese for Society Development [English] [Arabic]: This is non-governmental organization that was established in Jerusalem by Palestinian academics, doctors, teachers and social activists. The organizations seeks to protect and maintain the rights of Palestinians in Jerusalem through raising awareness of their rights, protect these rights, and monitor-document and publicize the Israeli violations against PalestiniansØ rights.

* Al-Zahra Palestinian Arab Women's Organization: The organization aims to ameliorate the status of Arab women in their own society on the national level (as members of a non-recognized minority in a Jewish state). It also aims to raise awareness about women's issues among women themselves and in the Arab community.

* American Near East Refugee Aid [English]: ANERA is a non governmental organization with a mission to improve refugees communities throughout the West Bank, Gaza, Lebanon, and Jordan. ANERA works with local institutions, schools, universities, health facilities, cooperatives, municipalities, grassroots committees, and charitable associations, and assists them to improve their community services.

* Assistance to the Disinherited Women and Children of the Iguidi Region: Promotes the self-sufficiency of women and children of the Iguidi region by encouraging market-gardening and artisan activities. Organizes activities to combat desertification, such as reforestation and sand dune fixation. Sensitizes women's groups on issues of health, hygiene, nutrition and the environment.
