* Bahrain Lawyers [Arabic]: The Bahrain Lawyers’ website is part of the Arab lawyers network which is planning to publish a comprehensive Arab encyclopedia on the Internet that contains Arab legislations and provisions. The encyclopedia would also contain legal forms of contracts, law suits and specialized legal files. The Arab Lawyers Network is meant to be the legal reference to all Arab lawyers.

* Birzeit University - Institute of Law [English] [Arabic]: The IOL Institute was established in 1993 with the mandate to contribute to the evolution of legal structures and the rule of law in Palestine. IOL is currently involved in legal education, practical legal research, a Master of Laws Program and the establishment of a complete and modern legal information, documentation center and a comprehensive Palestinian law library. IOL publishes the Palestinian Official Gazette online on its Arabic web site.

* Canadian Institute for the Administration of Justice [English]: The CIAJ is a volontary, non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of justice for all canadians.

* Center for Islamic and Middle Eastern Law [English]: CIMEL was established in 1990 at the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London. The Center, focused on the analysis of the various systems of law at work in the Islamic and Middle Eastern world, operates as a scholarly legal bridge for research with Middle Eastern and Muslim lawmakers and legal scholars.

* Coalition for the International Criminal Court [English] [French]: The coalition is a network of over 2,000 non-governmental organizations (NGOs) advocating for a fair, effective and independent International Criminal Court (ICC).

* Conference on Judicial Administration Modernization in the Arab States [English]: The conference was convened by the Ministry of Justice in Morocco, the United Nations Development Programme-Programme on Governance in the Arab Region (POGAR), and the World Bank's Legal Vice Presidency. The International Development Law Institute (IDLI) also provide support in the organization and planning of the event, held in Marrakech, Morocco March 15-17, 2002.

* Consultative Council for European Prosecutors [English] [French]: The CCPE is responsible for drafting documents on issues related to the functioning of the public ministry, and it gathers information on the functioning of public ministry services across Europe.

* Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly [English]: The Council is a gathering of parliamentarians, from more than forty European countries, of all political persuasions. The statutory aim of the Council of Europe is to achieve greater unity among its members through common action, agreements and debates. The conditions for membership are pluralistic democracy, the rule of law and respect for human rights.

* Supreme Judicial Council [Arabic]: The Judicial Council was reorganized by order No. (35) of 2003 and was renamed Supreme Judicial Council. The Council supervises the judicial system in Iraq independently of the Ministry of Justice. Its functions include: administrative supervisionh of judges and all members of public prosecutions, except members of the court of cassation. The Council also hears professional misbehaviour claims against judges and members of public prosecution. It also nominates qualified individuals for occupying judicial posts or as members of public prosecution. The Council promotes, upgrades, seconds or transfer judges and members of public prosecution. * United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute  [English]: UNICRI is a United Nations entity mandated to assist intergovernmental, governmental and non-governmental organizations in formulating and implementing improved policies in the field of crime prevention and criminal justice. Its basic goals are to foster criminal justice systems as well as to facilitate international law enforcement cooperation and judicial assistance. 

* WOMANKIND Worldwide [English]: Website of WOMANKIND Worldwide, a UK based charity that works with women's organizations in 15 developing countries and has assisted women in 71 countries. The organization aims to enable women to understand their legal rights and ultimately improve their lives. It also provides assistance in securing new legislation that protects women. WOMANKIND follows a participative approach allowing women in developing countries to identify their own needs. The website contains publications on women issues and materials on lessons concerning citizenship.
