Organizer(s): United Nations Development Programme - Programme on Governance in the Arab Region (UNDP-POGAR) in collaboration with the Ministry of Justice in Jordan.
This conference focuses on the legal foundation of the concept and role of the public prosecution office in criminal procedures, its independence from the judiciary, as well as the regional and international standards that govern this role. It also discusses international and national experiences and outlines challenges facing the role of public prosecution.
