The 2nd Annual Conference and General Meeting of the International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities (IAACA)
21-24 November 2007 - Bali, Indonesia
This conference focuses on "Efficient Prevention Measures in the Fight against Corruption" with a view towards providing the participants with a collection of effective practices relating to Chapter II of the United Nations Convention against Corruption and ultimately facilitating the convention's implementation.
A key objective for this conference is the formulation of a development plan for IAACA on the basis of a comprehensive and profound discussion focused on best practices in preventive measures in the fight against corruption.
A number of Arab public prosecutors were selected from each pilot country by the Public Prosecution Office in that respective country, in coordination with the Project Management Team, to participate in this conference alongside relevant institutions and bodies entrusted with the task of fighting corruption. These participants are:

Conference on "Information on Communication Technology for Public Prosecutor's Office"
12-13 October 2007 - Bologna, Italy
This conference discusses the importance of the development of information and communication technology in the field of justice; a phenomenon that has become more essential to the correct and efficacious functioning of judicial systems around the world.
A number of Arab public prosecutors were selected from each pilot country by the Public Prosecution Office in that respective country, in coordination with the Project Management Team, to participate in this conference. These participants are:

Conference "European Arrest Warrant - The Reality of a Vision"
Field Visit to the Netherlands Forensic Institute (NFI) - The Netherlands
15-17 June 2007
The objective of this visit is to introduce the participants to the European Arrest Warrant and its means of implementation in the Dutch legislation as well as judicial practice; this shall be realized through visits to prosecution offices in Amsterdam. The visit also aims at providing the participants with an overview of the management of cases by prosecutors in the Netherlands, and outlines the cooperation avenues between the judicial authorities and the NFI.
A number of Arab public prosecutors were selected from each pilot country by the Public Prosecution Offices in their respective countries, in coordination with the Project Management Team, to participate in this event. The participants are:
